Whether you are using the ParaSwap web app or the mobile app, getting started is very easy:

  1. Connect your wallet by clicking on the top right corner button and selecting your wallet

  2. Choose the token you want to receive in the ‘Receive’ field and the token you want to pay within the ‘pay’ field.
    For example, if you want to buy PSP with ETH, select PSP in the ‘Receive’ field and ETH in the ‘pay’ field. If you don’t find the token you want, you can manually add it by following this article.

  3. Unlock the token and wait for the transaction to be approved.

  4. Click the swap button.

  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

  6. Wait for the transaction to be processed.

For advanced trading settings, click on the Trading Parameters icon (three horizontal lines with three dots) above on the right of the ‘pay’ field:

  • Slippage tolerance: the amount of price slippage acceptable for the current transaction

  • Transaction speed: an average gas price that can affect the transaction's speed and cost

  • EIP559 compatibility

  • Enabled exchanges: liquidity sources to trade against.
